En 1641, l'immeuble qui appartenait à l'îlot dit Ile Saint-Bazile, ne faisait qu'un avec celui des n°3 et 5 de la rue Fabert. Un grand portail s'ouvre sur la rue sous un arc très surbaissé, orné d'une grande clef en console. La décoration est complétée par deux pilastres simples soutenant un petit entablement. L'ornement sculpté se réduit à une rosace sur une console plate, à chaque pilastre. Ces consoles s'étirent en forme de triglyphes avec gouttes. Dans la cour, le puits est semblable aux nombreux exemples du 17e siècle. Il a conservé sa margelle bombée caractéristique. A gauche de la cour, en entrant, l'aile du bâtiment contient un escalier à deux volées parallèles, à rampes superposées. Limons et paliers sont supportés par des arcs bien appareillés, retombant sur des clefs pendantes ornées de mascarons. Au départ de chaque volée, les murs latéraux sont ornés de quelques moulures rampantes formant imposte. Une pierre est incrustée dans le mur, portant une inscription datant du 2e siècle.

History
In 1641, the building which belonged to the block called Ile Saint-Bazile, was one with that of nos. 3 and 5 of rue Fabert. A large portal opens onto the street under a very depressed arch, adorned with a large console keystone. The decoration is completed by two simple pilasters supporting a small entablature. The sculptured ornament is reduced to a rosette on a flat console, at each pilaster. These consoles stretch in the form of triglyphs with drops. In the courtyard, the well is similar to the numerous examples of the 17th century. It has retained its characteristic bulging coping. To the left of the courtyard, on entering, the wing of the building contains a staircase with two parallel flights, with superposed stringers. Stringers and landings are supported by well-dressed arches, bearing on pendentive keystones decorated with mascarons. At the start of each flight, the side walls are decorated with some ramping mouldings forming an impost. A stone is inlaid in the wall, bearing an inscription dating from the 2nd century.
