La croix était située dans le cimetière Saint-Pierre d'Alzonne à quelques mètres au nord de l'église. Cette croix est intéressante par l'archaïsme de la croix de Toulouse qui y est figurée. Au centre, croix grecque en réserve dans un petit carré à diagonale verticale. Les bras de la croix sont prolongés chacun par trois tiges rectilignes divergentes, tracées d'un seul trait en creux et terminées par des besants. La croix est cantonnée de très petites croisettes. Au pied est dessiné un losange et deux triangles, avec un trait de base. Il est possible que ce dessin, très schématisé et imparfaitement visible, soit celui d'une fleur de lis. L'autre face de la stèle est identique mais très dégradée.££En 1984, elle est transférée chez un particulier, puis dans le hall fermé précédant le portail ouest de l'église Saint-Pierre d'Alzonne, située en contre-bas du village. History
The cross was located in the Saint-Pierre cemetery at Alzonne a few metres north of the church. This cross is interesting for the archaism of the Toulouse cross depicted on it. At the centre, a Greek cross in reserve within a small square with vertical diagonal. The arms of the cross are each extended by three rectilinear divergent stems, drawn in a single incised line and terminating in besants. The cross is cantoned by very small crosslets. At the foot is drawn a lozenge and two triangles, with a base line. It is possible that this drawing, highly schematized and imperfectly visible, is that of a fleur de lis. The other face of the stele is identical but very degraded. In 1984, it was transferred to a private individual, then to the enclosed hall preceding the west portal of the church Saint-Pierre at Alzonne, situated below the village. This displacement means that the cross can no longer be considered as an immovable.
