Historique
Le monument se trouvait au bord du Cami Roumiu (Chemin romain). Il est mentionné sous le nom de tour de la Mozolée puis tour de Mésolieux. L'ouvrage est rectangulaire et s'élève de deux étages, le supérieur étant aux trois quarts détruit. Une corniche indique la séparation des deux parties. Du côté ouest, sous cette saillie, un vide indiquerait la place de la plaque commémorative disparue. Du côté est, un retrait dans le mur de l'étage supérieur simule une fenêtre cintrée et murée. A l'intérieur, sur la paroi nord, se remarquent les restes d'une niche en hémicycle, prise dans l'épaisseur du mur. Le plancher du premier étage se compose de dalles en grès. Les murs du bas sont constitués par un fort blocage revêtu de pierres de petit appareil et sont deux fois plus épais que ceux du haut.

History
The monument was located at the edge of the Cami Roumiu (Roman Road). It is mentioned under the name of tower of la Mozolée then tower of Mésolieux. The building is rectangular and rises two storeys, the upper one being three-quarters destroyed. A cornice marks the separation of the two parts. On the west side, beneath this projection, a void would indicate the place of the disappeared commemorative plaque. On the east side, a recess in the wall of the upper storey simulates an arched window and is walled up. Inside, on the north wall, can be seen the remains of a hemicycle niche, set within the thickness of the wall. The floor of the first storey consists of sandstone slabs. The walls of the lower part are constituted by strong rubble covered with small ashlar stones and are twice as thick as those of the upper part.
