L'église fut d'abord, et au moins jusqu'en 1304, une annexe de Clermont-sur-Lauquet. Par la suite, ce fut l'église de Greffeil qui devint paroissiale et Clermont annexe. History
The church was at first, and at least until 1304, an annex of Clermont-sur-Lauquet. Subsequently, it was the church of Greffeil which became parochial and Clermont an annex. This change is probably contemporary with the construction of the present building which would not be earlier than the 14th century, with the possible exception of the portal. There remain no vestiges of the primitive church, still mentioned in 1119. The building is rectangular, oriented to the east, divided into four bays of which the first constitutes the sanctuary. The transverse arches bearing the roof structure are pointed arches, profiled with a blunt edge, with two rolls. Only the sanctuary bay is ceilinged. The others show the roof structure, composed of purlins resting on wooden corbels. The sanctuary is lit, to the south, by a Gothic window: two trilobed forms, surmounted by a quatrefoil, the mouldings hollowed out. To the south of the third bay, the portal is preceded by a modern porch. Its basic type generally belongs in the region to 13th-century constructions. Either this portal was preserved from an earlier building, or it is of a retarded style. The gable wall supports a porch tower with three openings with very simple lateral pinnacles.
