Historique
Tour de plan barlong qui se dresse au sommet d'une colline élevée de cent mètres au-dessus du village. Cette position permet de communiquer par signaux avec la tour de Montrabech entre autre. La hauteur actuelle de la tour est de quatorze mètres mais il manque un étage environ. L'accès à la salle basse se fait par une brèche qui a peut-être remplacé une porte. La salle basse est voûtée d'un berceau en plein cintre dont les naissances se situent à 4,50m du sol. Une corniche intérieure, profilée en quart de rond, court au-dessous des naissances, au long des murs latéraux. Un petit passage rectangulaire pratiqué dans la voûte à l'angle nord-est, est la seule issue permettant d'accéder à l'étage supérieur. La seule baie ancienne est une fenêtre étroite, à ébrasement intérieur, s'ouvrant dans la paroi orientale.

History
Tower of oblong plan which stands at the summit of a hill one hundred metres high above the village. This position allows communication by signals with the tower of Montrabech amongst others. The current height of the tower is fourteen metres but approximately one storey is missing. Access to the lower chamber is through a breach which may have replaced a door. The lower chamber is vaulted with a barrel vault in round arch whose springing points are situated 4.50m from the floor. An internal cornice, moulded in quarter-round, runs below the springing points, along the side walls. A small rectangular passage made through the vault at the north-east corner is the only means of access to the upper storey. The only ancient opening is a narrow window, with internal splays, opening in the eastern wall.
