Historique
Sur un socle carré est encastrée une colonnette octogonale à base carrée. Les bras de la croix sont raccordés par des quarts-de-cercle. Les arêtes de ces raccordements sont chanfreinées et chacune d'elles est ornée de quatre bourgeons. Au centre de chaque face de la croix, un cercle fait saillie. Chacun de ces cercles est orné d'un emblême sculpté en réserve. Sur la face Est, cet emblème est un large plateau demi-circulaire, à manche vertical. Cet objet peut représenter soit un instrument de pareur de draps (lisseuse), soit un tranchoir de pastelier. Sur la face opposée, il est plus facile d'identifier une "force" de pareur de draps, placée verticalement, le manche en bas. Ces médaillons circulaires s'appuient chacun sur quatre banderoles développées en quart-de-cercle à l'intérieur des bras de la croix. Ces banderoles, anépigraphes sur la face ouest, portent sur la face orientale une longue inscription en majuscules gothiques des 14e ou 15e siècles. La force de pareur permet de supposer qu'il s'agit d'une croix de métier et sans doute l'une des plus anciennes du département.

History
On a square base is set a chamfered octagonal columnette with square base. The arms of the cross are connected by quarter-circles. Each of these circles is decorated with an emblem carved in relief. On the East face, this emblem is a wide semi-circular flat, with vertical handle. This object may represent either an instrument of cloth finishers (smoother), or a pastry server. On the opposite face, it is easier to identify a "tool" of cloth finishers, placed vertically, the handle at the bottom. These circular medallions are supported each by four banderoles developed in quarter-circle within the arms of the cross. These banderoles, without inscription on the west face, bear on the eastern face a long inscription in Gothic capitals of the 14th or 15th centuries. The cloth finisher's tool allows to suppose that this is a trade cross and doubtless one of the oldest in the department.
