Historique
Le "castrum" est mentionné en 1110. Ce fort aurait été détruit au 13e siècle et il n'en subsisterait que le donjon. La tour est de plan barlong. History
The "castrum" is mentioned in 1110. This fort is said to have been destroyed in the 13th century and only the keep would subsist from it. The tower is of barlong plan. Entry is made at the base of the north wall, by a low door. The lower chamber is vaulted with a barrel vault. The chamber established above this vault does not appear to have been vaulted. At the height of this chamber opened two long arrow slits. These slits presented, at their lower part, a small triangular splay, usual in the second half of the 12th century. The eastern wall was pierced by a window whose lintel was carved so as to simulate a trilobe arcading. This tower remained almost intact until the end of the 19th century. At that time, it began to be demolished for an unknown reason.
