Historique
Petite chapelle située hors du village, à la bifurcation de deux chemins. Son appellation devait être "chapelle de Notre-Dame de Pitié" à cause du groupe placé au-dessus de l'autel. Ces oratoires champêtres servaient à dire la messe à certains moments de l'année. Dans l'Aude, ils ne remontent pas au-delà du 14e siècle. Cette chapelle peut dater de la fin du 15e siècle. Le porche peut être moderne mais il a pu remplacer un porche plus ancien tombé en ruines. Sa couverture est en tuiles creuses alors que les voûtes de l'oratoire sont protégées par d'épaisses lauzes de grès. History
Small chapel situated outside the village, at the junction of two paths. Its name should have been "chapel of Notre-Dame de Pitié" because of the group placed above the altar. These rural oratories were used to say mass at certain times of the year. In the Aude, they do not date back beyond the 14th century. This chapel may date from the end of the 15th century. The porch may be modern but it could have replaced an older porch fallen into ruin. Its covering is in curved tiles whereas the vaults of the oratory are protected by thick sandstone slabs. The building ends in a five-sided chevet whose vault rests on projecting ribs mounted on corbel stops.
