Historique
Le pont-canal sur lequel est érigée la croix a été inauguré en 1810. Cette dernière a probablement été transportée à cet endroit en 1855, date inscrite sur son socle, mais son emplacement primitif est inconnu. Les bras de la croix s'inscrivent dans un carré vertical. Ils sont formés de quatre quarts d'anneau circulaire, accolés par leur partie convexe, laissant entre eux, à la croisée, un espace vide, retaillé en carré. Ces quatre quarts-de-cercle ou croissants conservent leur individualité jusqu'aux extrémités des bras où ils se retournent légèrement, en s'épaississant. Sur la face sud-ouest, se trouve une inscription gravée en creux, en caractères gothiques.

History
The aqueduct bridge on which the cross is erected was inaugurated in 1810. The latter was probably transported to this location in 1855, a date inscribed on its base, but its original location is unknown. The arms of the cross are inscribed within a vertical square. They are formed of four quarters of a circular ring, joined by their convex part, leaving between them, at the crossing, an empty space, retrimmed into a square. These four quarter-circles or crescents retain their individuality up to the ends of the arms where they turn back slightly, thickening. On the south-west face, there is an inscription engraved in relief, in Gothic characters.
