L'édifice appartient au type des églises languedociennes du 14e siècle, avec choeur, nef unique de large ouverture et chapelles entre les contreforts. Son clocher appartient également au type général, massif et de plan carré. Contrairement aux autres églises, il ne se trouve pas à l'ouest mais au nord, à l'emplacement de la chapelle latérale qui correspond au choeur. Cette chapelle forme donc le rez-de-chaussée du clocher. Elle est voûtée d'ogives avec clef circulaire. Les diagonaux et formerets retombent en faisceaux. A l'est, une porte donne accès à l'escalier à vis logé dans une tourelle latérale carrée. Le premier étage forme une salle voûtée. Les retombées des arcs sont portées sur des culots sculptés archaïques. L'étage supérieur n'est pas voûté. Il contient les cloches et est éclairé, à l'ouest, par une petite baie et, sur les trois autres faces, par trois grandes baies à meneau central dont un réseau semble avoir été modifié. Ce clocher a été dérasé. Le couronnement de la tourelle a dû être modifié au 17e siècle. Il est constitué d'une petite voûte en briques pleines dans laquelle est scellée l'armature de fer qui porte une petite cloche. Le bandeau de pierre du sommet est de l'époque primitive.

History
The building belongs to the type of 14th-century churches of Languedoc, with choir, single nave of wide opening and chapels between the buttresses. Its bell tower also belongs to the general type, massive and of square plan. Contrary to other churches, it is not found to the west but to the north, at the location of the lateral chapel which corresponds to the choir. This chapel thus forms the ground floor of the bell tower. It is vaulted with ribs with circular key. The diagonals and formerets spring in bundles. To the east, a door gives access to the spiral staircase housed in a square lateral turret. The first floor forms a vaulted room. The spring points of the arches are borne on archaic sculpted corbels. The upper floor is not vaulted. It contains the bells and is lit, to the west, by a small opening and, on the three other faces, by three large openings with central mullion of which a network appears to have been altered. This bell tower has been razed. The crowning of the turret must have been altered in the 17th century. It consists of a small vault in solid bricks into which is sealed the iron framework which bears a small bell. The stone string course at the top is from the original period.
