History
The cross is recent. The middle part of the base was constituted by a reused stone carved in sandstone, of unknown origin. The four faces of the pillar are carved with a head or mask that forms the centre of a cartouche with complicated cutting whose edges curve back in thick scrolls. The whole is heavily laden with Baroque ornaments, fabrics, cordoning, always arranged according to rigid axial symmetry.
