L'hôtel-Dieu actuel a été construit au nord-est de l'enceinte de 1735 à 1745, sur les plans de l'architecte bisontin J-P Galezot, en s'inspirant de celui de Besançon. Les piliers de la clôture de la cour d'honneur ont été réalisés vers 1743, le portail et les grilles mis en place en 1779. On ajouta l'aile nord en 1830-1839. La chapelle fut réaménagée suivant le projet du père Martin de 1845. L'aile sud fut ajoutée à la place des écuries en 1865-1868 par A. Paillot, à qui on doit le dortoir des soeurs à l'ouest. Au 20e siècle, c'est l'ensemble du jardin à l'ouest et au nord qui a été bâti en plusieurs campagnes. Le bâtiment 18e siècle en U ouvert vers l'est détermine la cour d'honneur fermée par une grille remarquable. A l'angle sud-ouest, le grand escalier en pierre et rampe en fer forgé donne accès à l'étage. A l'angle nord-ouest, la chapelle qui était visible des trois grandes salles communes est couverte d'un dôme à caissons ornés. Au rez-de-chaussée, l'ancienne cuisine est voûtée à arêtes multiples. History
The present hôtel-Dieu was built to the north-east of the enclosure from 1735 to 1745, on the plans of the Besançon architect J-P Galezot, inspired by that of Besançon. The pillars of the closure of the courtyard of honour were created around 1743, the portal and gates put in place in 1779. The north wing was added in 1830-1839. The chapel was rearranged following the project of Father Martin of 1845. The south wing was added in place of the stables in 1865-1868 by A. Paillot, to whom is owed the sisters' dormitory to the west. In the 20th century, it is the entire garden to the west and north which was built in several campaigns. The 18th-century building in U form open towards the east determines the courtyard of honour closed by a remarkable gate. At the south-west corner, the large stone staircase and wrought-iron handrail give access to the upper floor. At the north-west corner, the chapel which was visible from the three large common rooms is covered with a coffered dome. On the ground floor, the former kitchen is vaulted with multiple groining. The pharmacy comprises three rooms with cupboards and panelling. The administrative council chamber is panelled.
