History
The old seigniorial chapel, near the château, was built around 1200 and depended on the abbey of Bourgueil. It is a rectangular building with a chevet with five cut facets, supported by four buttress columns. The first bay of the choir is on a four-part rib vault and the apse on a six-part vault with one longitudinal section and five others radiating. The gable wall of the nave is topped by a campanile. The vaults of the late Gothic period rest on composite pillars. This former parish church is now disused.
