L'accès principal au château se fait par une allée bordée d'arbres, percée dans un parc. Après avoir franchi un pont sur d'anciennes douves asséchées, on pénètre dans une avant-cour. Celle-ci donne accès à la cour proprement dite du château, par un portail rejoignant deux pavillons d'angle. La cour ouvre sur un corps de bâtiment central entre deux massifs d'angle carrés. Les angles des fenêtres et les massifs d'angle faits de chaînages de pierre en refends, sont typiques de l'architecture du 17e siècle. Toutes les baies sont encadrées par des chaînages de pierre apparente et au-dessus de chaque baie, sont percées dans la toiture quatre lucarnes avec fronton triangulaire. La façade postérieure est complétée d'une terrasse et d'un escalier. Cette terrasse est soutenue par de gros contreforts, deux sur les petits côtés et trois sur le grand, datant également du 17e siècle. History
The main access to the castle is by a tree-lined avenue, cut through a park. After crossing a bridge over former dried-up moats, one enters a forecourt. This gives access to the actual courtyard of the castle, by a gateway connecting two corner pavilions. The courtyard opens onto a central block of buildings between two square corner masses. The angles of the windows and the corner masses made of stone ashlar courses in relief are typical of 17th-century architecture. All the openings are framed by courses of exposed stone and above each opening, four dormers with triangular pediment are pierced in the roof. The rear façade is completed with a terrace and a staircase. This terrace is supported by large buttresses, two on the short sides and three on the long side, also dating from the 17th century. A large enclosure wall surrounds the castle, its outbuildings and the woods.
