Historique
Marché à charpente métallique construit au 19e siècle pour accompagner le développement commercial des bourgs ruraux. Construction réalisée en deux temps : 1896-1898, puis 1901-1902. Des travaux concernant le décor en zinc et l'étanchéité de la couverture, sont réalisés en 1903. En 1909, les halles sont cimentées et la couverture refaite. Des réparations de couverture-zinguerie ainsi que quelques travaux de peinture et de vitrerie, sont entrepris en 1925-1927. En 1967, un bâtiment en béton est accolé à la face est des halles. Les pignons s'ouvrent par un portail en pierre surmonté d'un motif sculpté avec horloge et campanile. Sur les côtés, doubles colonnes en fonte surmontées d'un tympan en tôle avec motif rapporté en fonte, et alternance de pierre et de briques sur les pilastres. Au-dessus du soubassement en brique, fausses arcatures en fer forgé surmontant un rideau vitré. A l'intérieur, charpente triangulée portée par des colonnes en fonte prolongées par des consoles en fer.

History
Market with metal roof structure built in the 19th century to accompany the commercial development of rural towns. Construction carried out in two phases: 1896-1898, then 1901-1902. Work concerning zinc decoration and roof waterproofing is carried out in 1903. In 1909, the halls are cemented and the roof remade. Roof repairs including zinc work as well as some painting and glazing work are undertaken in 1925-1927. In 1967, a concrete building is added to the east face of the halls. The gables open by a stone portal surmounted by a sculptural motif with clock and bell turret. On the sides, double cast-iron columns surmounted by a sheet-metal tympanum with cast-iron applied motif, and alternation of stone and brick on the pilasters. Above the brick base, false wrought-iron arcatures surmounting a glazed screen. Inside, triangulated roof structure carried by cast-iron columns extended by iron consoles.
