History
Castle built between 1490 and 1530 with the addition, in the 18th century, of lateral pavilions and the chapel. Park laid out in the French style. In 1819, addition of outbuildings which connected the main body to the entrance towers, the whole then forming a U-shaped plan. The architectural elements of the Renaissance, situated essentially on the anterior façade of the central pavilion as well as a monumental sculptured chimney, sit alongside later additions, offering the appearance of a typical ensemble of the Gâtine.
