Entre 1636 et 1642, la famille protestante des Du Fay de la Taillée fait construire le château et les communs qui ferment la cour au nord. History
Between 1636 and 1642, the Protestant family of Du Fay de la Taillée had the castle and outbuildings constructed, which close off the courtyard to the north. These outbuildings are punctuated by two dovecotes implanted symmetrically on either side of the entrance building, itself guarded by a bretèche with two turrets in overhang covered with a stone dome. The dovecotes have retained their roof of flat stones on vault, decorated with dormers with triangular pediment and surmounted by a lantern. Their ground floor is fitted out for defence. The original overall composition is completely preserved.
