Un des deux lieux de production de céramique sigillée en Franche-Comté. Partiellement fouillé, cet atelier de potier a été exploité au 2e siècle. Le plan des bâtiments et des fours (fabrication de céramique et de matériaux de construction) est très bien conservé : l'aire de travail et de stockage est délimité par des fossés remplis de matériaux divers dont des ratés de cuisson de la fin du 1er siècle. Situé dans un milieu boisé sous des lignes haute tension et menacé par les techniques de déboisement, ce site archéologique a fait l'objet d'une protection, en envisageant une fouille complète, voir une étude comparative des techniques de construction des fours.

History
One of two places of production of terra sigillata in Franche-Comté. Partially excavated, this potter's workshop was exploited in the 2nd century. The layout of the buildings and kilns (for the manufacture of ceramics and building materials) is very well preserved: the working and storage area is delimited by ditches filled with various materials including firing failures from the end of the 1st century. Located in a wooded setting beneath high-voltage lines and threatened by deforestation techniques, this archaeological site has been protected, envisaging a complete excavation, or indeed a comparative study of kiln construction techniques.
