History

The construction of the main dwelling dates to the end of the 15th century; it was enlarged towards the west in the first half of the 18th century, with an additional construction in the 20th century. The first main dwelling presents on its southern rear façade a solid construction with powerful sandstone walls, pierced by a pedestrian door forming a passage structure, surmounted by a storey in timber framing. The front façade is in timber framing, with on the upper storey a circulation gallery in corbelling on beams; this open-work gallery presents a decoration of scalloped lintels with openings. Associated with a timber spiral staircase situated outside in a hexagonal tower, it allowed the distribution of the rooms on the upper storey. Internally the original fittings are preserved, as well as on the upper storey a painted decoration from the early 17th century. The 18th-century enlargement respected the original design, with reuse of some old timber elements.
