Ces deux maisons juxtaposées présentent les caractéristiques courantes des vieilles maisons de la ville : chacune d'elle est de plan presque carré ; les façades principales, étroites, longent la place et s'élèvent sur deux niveaux au-dessus d'un rez-de-chaussée. Le rez-de-chaussée de la partie gauche s'ouvre par deux grandes arcades appareillées en plein cintre, l'une sur la place, l'autre sur une courette intérieure. L'accès aux caves s'effectue par un escalier à volée droite donnant sur un vaste couloir voûté qui débouchait sur l'ancienne place des Bancs. Sur le côté droit, les caves voûtées d'arêtes ont utilisé des pierres de réemploi, notamment pour la retombée des voûtes qui s'effectue sur un chapiteau à corbeille palmiforme et astragale à tore.

History
These two adjoining houses present the common characteristics of the old houses of the town: each of them is of almost square plan; the narrow main façades border the square and rise over two storeys above a ground floor. The ground floor of the left part opens by two large round-arched arcades dressed in masonry, one onto the square, the other onto an interior courtyard. Access to the cellars is by a straight-flight staircase giving onto a vast vaulted corridor which opened onto the former Place des Bancs. On the right side, the cellars with rib vaults have used reused stones, notably for the springing of the vaults which is effected on a palmiform basket capital and an astragal with torus moulding.
