History
The old Roman road leading from Limoges to Saintes passed through Petit-Vedeix. This cross is set on a stone base, supporting the plinth with cut angles. The base, on its main face, bears the date 1659. The shaft is chamfered at the angles and probably once had a greater size. The cross appears as a Greek cross with potent endings.
