History
An ancient construction, dating back to the end of the 13th century (large keep) still exists. There also remain barrel-vaulted cellars dating from the Middle Ages. The castle comprises a main body with a return wing and a large number of towers. The decoration of the openings, windows and doors, is inspired by the 15th century. It is an interesting realisation of "troubadour" style. The chapel is a reproduction of the Sainte-Chapelle de Paris.
