Two in number, these repositories formerly marked the passage of processions. The first, established on the castle square, consists of a large table of granite which may have served as an altar and which backs onto a low wall, a sort of granite retable whose pilasters ornamenting the extremities support a moulded entablature. A scroll pediment surmounts the whole. It bears in its axis a sculpted shell, and is dominated by a cross. In the axis of the low wall, under the entablature, opens a semicircular niche vaulted in shell whose lower part is a projecting corbel. It appears that the entire central part of the monument has lost its original appearance. On the second repository, two semicircular steps give access to the altar. The granite low wall surmounting the altar is flanked by two square pilasters supporting two modillons on which the entablature rests, extended by a pediment. The whole is surmounted by a cross with curved arms. In the axis of the monument, under the entablature, opens a semicircular niche carved in shell whose lower part rests on a corbel. The tympanum of the pediment was decorated with an escutcheon whose arms are illegible. At the rear part of the monument can still be distinguished those of Monseigneur de La Fayette, bishop of Limoges (1627-1676).
