History
A transaction dated 1467 mentions the house. Of the Peyrat house only three cellars remain, one descending to the stream, surmounted by a vaulted cellar, itself dominated by the present cellar. In 1775, an alignment ordinance required renovation of the hotel and of the façade on rue du Consulat carried out by architect Joseph Brousseau. On the ground floor, a series of round-arch arcades opened onto both streets.
