En 1354, l'église avait une prévôté qui dépendait de l'abbaye de Saint-Martial de Limoges. Elle fut unie à la manse abbatiale en 1479. History
In 1354, the church had a provostry which depended on the abbey of Saint-Martial de Limoges. It was united with the abbatial manse in 1479. The west façade presents a porch tower with gable erected in 1821 and braced on either side by two buttresses on the corner. The pentagonal Romanesque chevet, in dressed stone, is underlined with sculptured corbels. In the interior, the Romanesque choir has its entrance marked by a triumphal arch of round arch with double roll resting on columns and dossereaux. The first bay of the choir is covered with a barrel vault, the second with a polygonal half-dome vault. The north and south chapels were added in 1901, as was the gallery.
