History
Former feudal château with moats and ponds, the Mas de l'Age is known from texts from 1407 onwards. The building consists of a main dwelling of the 15th and 16th centuries, with staircase tower in outrigger position on the courtyard; a more recent wing at right angles, with a small return parallel to the main dwelling and an isolated 16th century chapel. In the interior, the hall with rib vault is adorned with painted decoration dating from the Revolution, probably from the Directoire period (cornucopia; houses in a landscape; genre scene...).
