Ensemble comprenant un corps de logis rectangulaire avec, en saillie sur la face ouest, une tour ronde contenant l'escalier. Il est flanqué, vers le nord, d'un donjon carré et, au sud, d'une autre tour ronde d'angle. Le dernier étage a conservé ses mâchicoulis sur corbeaux. L'édifice appartenait à la famille des Montaignac.£La présence de plafonds peints, dont un remarquable au premier étage de la tour ronde à l'angle du logis, la date de 1637 gravée au-dessus de la porte de la tour ainsi que la construction d'écuries témoignent de travaux d'embellissement au cours du 17ème siècle. History
Ensemble comprising a rectangular main dwelling with, projecting on the west face, a round tower containing the staircase. It is flanked, towards the north, by a square keep and, to the south, by another round corner tower. The last floor has preserved its machicolations on corbels. The building belonged to the family of Montaignac. The presence of painted ceilings, including a remarkable one on the first floor of the round tower at the corner of the dwelling, the date of 1637 engraved above the door of the tower as well as the construction of stables testify to works of embellishment during the 17th century. Despite the comfort arrangements made, the ensemble remains a fine example of a rural seigneurial residence.
