Historique
Le donjon, construit en 1248, fut démoli par les Anglais puis reconstruit en 1360. Différentes campagnes postérieures (13e, 14e, fin 15e, 16e siècles) achèvent l'évolution de cette demeure, transformée au 19e siècle (modification des ouvertures, crépi, établissement de lucarnes...). L'ancien château est formé d'un corps de logis de deux étages, allongé entre deux pavillons en légère saillie aux extrémités de la façade méridionale, où ils forment ailes en retour. Au centre de la façade nord est accolé un pavillon rectangulaire renfermant l'escalier desservant les étages, dont les montées droites sont limitées par une balustrade en fer forgé d'époque Louis XIII.

History
The keep, built in 1248, was demolished by the English then rebuilt in 1360. Various later campaigns (13th, 14th, late 15th, 16th centuries) complete the evolution of this residence, transformed in the 19th century (modification of openings, render, establishment of dormers...). The old castle is formed of a dwelling body of two storeys, lengthened between two pavilions in slight projection at the extremities of the southern facade, where they form return wings. At the centre of the north facade is attached a rectangular pavilion containing the staircase serving the storeys, whose straight flights are limited by a wrought iron balustrade of the Louis XIII period.
