Cette église était placée sous le patronage de l'abbaye de Déols, dans la dépendance du diocèse de Bourges, avant la Révolution. Elle est formée d'une nef rectangulaire terminée par un chevet également rectangulaire. La nef était autrefois couverte d'une voûte en berceau dont les départs subsistent. Elle a été remplacée par un lambris. La façade occidentale s'ouvre par un portail de type berrichon, en tracé brisé à trois voussures nues. Les jambages intérieurs et l'arc d'encadrement de l'entrée sont arrondis. Au-dessus règne, sur toute la façade, un cordon saillant horizontal, soulignant l'appui d'une fenêtre ouvrant au-dessus de l'entrée et dont l'arc en plein cintre est surmonté d'une tête sculptée. Les contreforts terminés en talus ont, pour la plupart, été refaits à l'époque gothique. Modillons sculptés de têtes. L'ouverture rectangulaire percée au pignon du chevet, au-dessus d'un alignement de trous de boulins, paraît indiquer une surélévation dans un but de fortification au 14e ou 15e siècle.

History
This church was placed under the patronage of Déols Abbey, in the dependence of the diocese of Bourges, before the Revolution. It is formed of a rectangular nave terminated by a rectangular chevet. The nave was formerly covered with a barrel vault of which the springing remain. It has been replaced by wainscoting. The western façade opens by a portal of Berrichon type, in broken tracery with three bare voussures. The inner jambs and the arc framing the entrance are rounded. Above, extends, over the whole façade, a projecting horizontal string course, underlining the sill of a window opening above the entrance and of which the round-arch arc is surmounted by a sculptured head. The buttresses terminated in a batter have, for the most part, been remade in the Gothic period. Modillions sculptured with heads. The rectangular opening pierced in the gable of the chevet, above an alignment of putlog holes, seems to indicate a raising for the purpose of fortification in the 14th or 15th century.
