Historique
Eglise à partie orientale (choeur, absidiole sud et crypte) romane et nef du 18e siècle. Choeur du milieu du 12e siècle avec chevet à six larges fenêtres en plein-cintre à mouluration limousine, sous archivolte, séparées par des contreforts-colonnes aux chapiteaux sculptés d'animaux fantastiques et de végétaux et couronnées, en deuxième niveau, d'une arcature d'inspiration berrichonne. Absidiole sud restaurée en 1932 par E. Harot. Travaux de reconstruction de la nef confiés en 1770 à Joseph Brousseau (1734-1797) , qui proposa un vaisseau voûté d'un berceau en anse de panier en lattis plâtré, éclairé de hautes fenêtres et élargi de deux chapelles à trois pans formant les bras de la croix. Clocher octogonal en façade s'inspirant du clocher primitif qui se trouvait à la croisée.

History
Church with eastern part (choir, southern apsidiole and crypt) Romanesque and 18th-century nave. Choir of the mid-12th century with chevet with six wide round-arch windows with Limousin moulding, under archivolt, separated by buttress-columns with capitals carved with fantastic animals and vegetation and crowned, on the second level, by an arcade of Berrichon inspiration. Southern apsidiole restored in 1932 by E. Harot. Work on the reconstruction of the nave entrusted in 1770 to Joseph Brousseau (1734-1797), who proposed a vaulted vessel with a basket-handle barrel vault in lath and plaster, lit by tall windows and widened by two chapels with three sides forming the arms of the cross. Octagonal bell tower on the façade drawing inspiration from the original bell tower which stood at the crossing.
