Maison forte présentant des caractères typiques de la Marche, construite dans la seconde moitié du 15e siècle, sur un site dont la fortification remonte à une époque plus ancienne (fin 10e - début 11e siècle). Le château se compose d'un corps de logis rectangulaire à deux tours d'angle circulaires et une tour quadrangulaire d'escalier au centre de la façade principale. Il est complété par une aile en retour d'équerre servant d'entrée par une porte cochère autrefois munie d'un pont-levis. Des fossés devaient entourer le château à l'ouest et au nord. L'angle nord-est de la plateforme était occupé par la chapelle, ruinée au 17e siècle, reconstruite et aujourd'hui complètement démolie.

History
Strong house displaying typical characteristics of the Marche, built in the second half of the 15th century, on a site whose fortification dates back to an earlier period (late 10th - early 11th century). The castle consists of a rectangular main dwelling with two circular corner towers and a quadrangular staircase tower at the centre of the main façade. It is completed by a wing in return angle serving as an entrance through a carriage gateway formerly fitted with a drawbridge. Ditches must have surrounded the castle to the west and north. The north-east angle of the platform was occupied by the chapel, ruined in the 17th century, rebuilt and today completely demolished.
