Historique
Une première église paroissiale, dans l'enceinte du château, fut détruite au cours des guerres de Religion, en 1575. Les travaux de reconstruction de la nouvelle église débutèrent en 1593 pour s'achever en 1661, sous la conduite de l'architecte A. Sarlande. History
A first parish church, within the castle enclosure, was destroyed during the Wars of Religion, in 1575. Work on the reconstruction of the new church began in 1593 and was completed in 1661, under the direction of architect A. Sarlande. The building in the form of a Latin cross presents a porch tower to the west, a nave of four bays, a choir with a flat chevet and two identical chapels to the north and south. Above the square of the transept, a small polygonal lantern with a domed roof, surmounted by a smaller conical roof. From the bell tower rises a polygonal spire with two superimposed turned-up overhangs.
