History
This building is a witness to the activities of the family of Turenne in the 17th century. The old chapel is a small Romanesque building, in the Limousin style of sanctuaries covered with a single barrel vault. Each of the lateral façades is supported by four buttresses formerly terminated with a slope. It was enlarged in the 16th century by a choir surmounted by a convent storey. The Capuchins were established at Turenne in 1644 by Frédéric Maurice de la Tour d'Auvergne.
