Enfeu provenant de la chapelle du château de Saint-Merd aujourd'hui détruit. C'est le monument funéraire d'un des anciens seigneurs. Le château dépendait de l'ordre de Malte et fut érigé en commanderie en 1446. Sur la pierre tombale, deux T de grande dimension, laissant supposer qu'il pouvait s'agir d'un chevalier du Temple.

History
Burial recess from the chapel of the castle of Saint-Merd now destroyed. It is the funerary monument of one of the former lords. The castle was dependent on the order of Malta and was erected as a commandery in 1446. On the tombstone, two large T letters, suggesting that it could have been a knight of the Temple.
