Historique
Le clocher, de plan carré, est une construction du 14e siècle, avec porche voûté ajouté au 15e. Au sommet de la tour carrée, les contreforts s'amortissent par de petits lanternons octogonaux ajourés de baies en tiers-points. L'ensemble est surmonté d'une haute flèche octogonale. Le passage du plan carré au plan octogonal est racheté par quatre trompes appareillées. L'étage inférieur forme la première travée de la nef, et est voûté sur croisée d'ogive. Au-dessus, une autre salle également voûtée sur croisée d'ogives. L'étage du beffroi est situé directement sous la flèche en pierre. Sur chaque face et à chaque niveau est percée une baie en tiers-point avec meneau et réseau de pierre garni de vitraux ou d'abat-sons. History
The bell tower, of square plan, is a construction of the 14th century, with a vaulted porch added in the 15th. At the summit of the square tower, the buttresses taper with small octagonal lanterns pierced with pointed arch openings. The whole is surmounted by a tall octagonal spire. The transition from square plan to octagonal plan is handled by four squinch arches. The lower storey forms the first bay of the nave, and is vaulted on a rib vault. Above, another room also vaulted on rib vaults. The belfry stage is located directly beneath the stone spire. On each face and at each level is pierced a pointed arch opening with tracery bar and stone tracery filled with stained glass or louvres. The bell tower is the only part of the church which presents archaeological interest, the rest of the church is of modern construction.
