Historique
La chapelle fut élevée au 18e siècle, à proximité d'une chapelle ruinée. Vers 1730, l'évêque de Tulle autorisa la confrérie des Pénitents Blancs à s'établir à Corrèze et à bâtir une nouvelle chapelle après la démolition de l'édifice en ruine. La construction débute en 1758. En 1793, la chapelle fut désaffectée et transformée en club. Elle fut rendue aux Pénitents en 1819, date des peintures décoratives du choeur. La chapelle est de plan rectangulaire avec nef carrée avec choeur plus étroit flanqué de sacristies. Une galerie soutenues par quatre colonnes court sur les côtés et au-dessus de l'entrée. La façade ouest est dominée par un clocher hexagonal recouvert d'un toit à six pans.

History
The chapel was erected in the 18th century, near a ruined chapel. Around 1730, the bishop of Tulle authorised the confraternity of the White Penitents to settle in Corrèze and to build a new chapel after the demolition of the ruined building. Construction began in 1758. In 1793, the chapel was deconsecrated and transformed into a club. It was returned to the Penitents in 1819, the date of the decorative paintings of the choir. The chapel is of rectangular plan with square nave with narrower choir flanked by sacristies. A gallery supported by four columns runs along the sides and above the entrance. The west façade is dominated by a hexagonal bell tower covered with a six-sided roof.
