Historique
La construction de l'église correspondrait à deux époques. La partie orientale, avec l'abside, ainsi que la façade occidentale appartiennent à un premier sanctuaire qui daterait peut-être du 9e siècle. History
The construction of the church would correspond to two periods. The eastern part, with the apse, as well as the western façade belong to an early sanctuary which might date to the 9th century. In the middle of the south and north side walls a very visible resumption of work is remarked, a repair which could date to around the 10th century. The church belonged to the Benedictine monastery of the Gorgone. Before 1531, the church was, it seems, closed because of plague. It is a single-nave building, with an apse oriented to the east. Inside, the apse vaulted in oven vault retains remnants of 15th century frescoes representing saints.
