The Ministère de la Culture's notice
Historique

History
In 1746, the construction of the church was decided to replace the earlier building, of the 10th century. The building comprises a central nave and aisles covered with vaults with penetrations. The choir has a flat chevet. On the exterior, the main façade is structured in such a way as to make visible the interior dispositions, which is the case in most Baroque buildings. The bell tower is attached to the chevet, on the south side. It comprises two levels pierced with round-arched openings. This building is typically Baroque and comparable to the churches of the hinterland of Nice.
