L'église est un édifice du 18e siècle dont le plan, la décoration intérieure en plâtre, la façade d'ordonnance classique, le clocher étroit et élancé, appartiennent à un type que les Gênois ont construit en Corse en de nombreux exemplaires. L'édifice se compose d'une nef avec, au nord et au sud, une série de chapelles latérales, d'un choeur à chevet plat et d'un clocher à cinq étages situé à la jonction de la nef et du choeur. La façade principale présente une ordonnance de pilastres, et est surmontée d'un fronton. A l'intérieur, le décor composé de placaque en plâtre, dans le goût italien de l'époque (médaillons, cartouches...) , est peint et doré.

History
The church is an 18th-century building whose plan, interior decoration in plaster, façade of classical arrangement, narrow and slender bell tower, belong to a type which the Genoese built in Corsica in numerous examples. The building is composed of a nave with, on the north and south, a series of lateral chapels, a choir with flat chevet and a bell tower with five levels located at the junction of the nave and the choir. The main façade presents an arrangement of pilasters, and is topped with a pediment. Inside, the decoration composed of plaster plaques, in the Italian taste of the period (medallions, cartouches...), is painted and gilded.
