Fondé vers 1420, le couvent est l'un des établissements de l'ordre des Servites. Le couvent fut le lieu où se tint la première Consulta du 18e siècle, ainsi que la dernière qui proclama Agostino Giafferi général en 1798. Il était constitué d'une église qui contenait quatre chapelles, et de dépendances. Dans l'église, seuls subsistent l'arc doubleau entre la nef et le choeur, ainsi que les murs périphériques. Le clocher à quatre niveaux domine l'ensemble. Dans le couvent proprement dit, restent les murs périphériques en façades sud et ouest.

History
Founded around 1420, the convent is one of the establishments of the order of the Servites. The convent was the place where the first Consulta of the 18th century was held, as well as the last which proclaimed Agostino Giafferi general in 1798. It was composed of a church which contained four chapels, and of dependencies. In the church, only the transverse arch between the nave and the choir remain, as well as the perimeter walls. The four-level bell tower dominates the whole. In the convent properly so called, remain the perimeter walls on the south and west facades.
