Bâtiment édifié de 1844 à 1846. C'est une vaste halle rectangulaire construite à la manière d'un temple antique. Sur un emmarchement, un soubassement de trois degrés supporte les trois files de colonnes doriques qui déterminent deux nefs de six travées, et supportent une charpente couverte d'un toit en tuiles à deux versants. Ce marché couvert est très représentatif de l'architecture utilitaire de la première moitié du 19e siècle.

History
Building erected from 1844 to 1846. It is a vast rectangular hall constructed in the manner of an ancient temple. On a flight of steps, a base of three degrees supports three rows of Doric columns which define two naves of six bays, and support a roof structure covered with a roof of tiles with two slopes. This covered market is very representative of the utilitarian architecture of the first half of the 19th century.
