La maison est construite à l'angle de la rue Ducerceau et d'une petite impasse privée. L'intérieur a été modifié par des aménagements modernes. La façade sur rue présente quatre niveaux superposés séparés par des entablements : un premier niveau percé de deux arcades cintrées ouvrant sur une boutique et d'une porte (menuiserie Renaissance à panneaux et cartouche portant l'inscription sculptée PAX HUIC). Celle-ci est sommée d'une imposte vitrée et grillagée. Elle donnait autrefois sur un couloir d'escalier. Ce rez-de-chaussée est surmonté de trois niveaux d'habitation superposés ornés d'un décor architectural savant de pilastres aux ordres superposés selon la règle classique (dorique, ionique, corinthien et composite). A chaque niveau, les pilastres encadrent deux croisées à meneaux et une demie croisée, de façon à former quasiment cinq percements identiques. Les plates-bandes des baies sont ornées de tables saillantes, de cartouches et d'écussons bûchés. Le dernier niveau est couronné par une corniche imposante à modillons. La façade en retour sur l'impasse présente le même ordonnancement, avec des baies aveugles enduites.

History
This house's name has been used for more than a century without any justification for a link with the famous architect. The house is built at the corner of rue Ducerceau and a small private alley. The interior has been modified by modern fittings. The street façade presents four superposed levels separated by entablatures: a first level pierced by two round-arched arcades opening onto a shop and a door (Renaissance carpentry with panels and cartouche bearing the sculptured inscription PAX HUIC). This is topped by a glazed and grilled transom. It formerly opened onto a stairwell corridor. This ground floor is surmounted by three superposed levels of dwelling ornamented with sophisticated architectural decoration of pilasters in superposed orders according to classical rule (Doric, Ionic, Corinthian and Composite). At each level, the pilasters frame two mullioned windows and a half-window, forming almost five identical openings. The sills of the openings are ornamented with projecting tablets, cartouches and hatched escutcheons. The last level is crowned by an imposing modillion cornice. The return façade on the alley presents the same arrangement, with blind rendered openings.
