Derrière la façade en pierre d'origine, disposée le long de la place, deux bâtiments en enfilade sont disposés autour d'une petite cour centrale. Les murs donnant sur cet espace libre présentent une structure de pans de bois en grille, éclairée à chaque niveau par une baie. Une cage d'escalier dans oeuvre, située dans l'angle du bâtiment sur la rue, permet d'accéder aux niveaux supérieurs et de desservir le second bâtiment disposé en fond de parcelle par l'intermédiaire d'un corps de galeries ouvertes superposées. Le mur de façade a été remanié. Le rez-de-chaussée sur la place a entièrement été remodelé et a perdu ses dispositions d'origine. Le bas de l'escalier en vis a également été remanié. Un ensemble décoratif a été découvert au premier étage de la maison donnant sur la place. Une cheminée en pierre présente des jambages sculptés de volutes et supportant un manteau peint d'un décor lacunaire en trompe-l'oeil, du style de l'école de Fontainebleau. Le plafond à solives apparentes est conservé, supporté par une poutre maîtresse ornée de masques sculptés sur ses faces latérales. Ces visages, l'un de bouffon, l'autre de femme aux yeux voilés, s'inscrivent dans un décor de cartouche à enroulements et de bandes s'achevant en volutes symétriquement opposées. Ils sont vraisemblablement contemporains du décor de la cheminée. History
Behind the original stone façade, arranged along the square, two buildings in enfilade are arranged around a small central courtyard. The walls overlooking this open space present a timber framing grid structure, lit at each level by an opening. A staircase in the thickness of the wall, located in the angle of the building on the street, allows access to the upper levels and serves the second building arranged at the far end of the plot by way of superimposed open gallery structures. The façade wall has been altered. The ground floor on the square has been entirely remodelled and has lost its original arrangement. The bottom of the spiral staircase has also been altered. A decorative ensemble was discovered on the first floor of the building overlooking the square. A stone fireplace presents jambs sculpted with scrollwork and supporting a mantelpiece painted with lacunose trompe-l'oeil decoration in the style of the Fontainebleau school. The ceiling with exposed joists is preserved, supported by a main beam ornamented with sculpted masks on its lateral faces. These faces, one of a buffoon, the other of a woman with veiled eyes, are set within a cartouche decoration with scrollwork and bands ending in symmetrically opposed scrolls. They are presumably contemporary with the fireplace decoration. The walls have preserved a decoration that could date to the second half of the 17th century and consists of brown decorative bands running at the base and top of the walls, probably framing hangings.
