History
The seigneury, mentioned since the 13th century, was dependent on the château of Courtalain. The present building is erected on a platform surrounded by ditches, which dates back to the 15th-16th centuries, of which only two towers abutting the outbuildings and the main dwelling survive. The formula of bays, with jambs harpées rising from the back and framing openings and mullions, has been frequently used since the middle of the 16th century. The vertical lines, the jambs harpées and the narrow bays are typical of the beginning of the 17th century or the end of the 16th. Some modifications took place in the 19th century.
