History
The modern cross rests on a base of the 16th century, consisting of a rectangular parallelepiped block accompanied, on two of its sides, by two columns having base and capital with foliage basket, supporting two storeys of slabs. The highest forms an entablature. On one face of the mass are seen the arms of the family of the Personnes, lords of Villemesle. This calvary was given by a member of this family.
