Historique
Le prieuré dépendait de l'abbaye de Saint-Julien de Tours. Il en subsiste l'habitation du prieur, qui date vraisemblablement du 16e siècle, et la chapelle du 13e siècle. Le logis se présente comme un manoir rectangulaire à deux étages. Une tourelle d'escalier hexagonale est adossée au centre de la façade principale. Les angles de cette façade sont flanqués d'une tourelle en encorbellement. A l'ouest, le logis est prolongé par une aile du 19e siècle sans doute bâtie à l'emplacement d'une construction plus ancienne. La chapelle comprend deux travées carrées couvertes de voûtes angevines. Des traces de peintures murales y sont visibles. Au sud de la cour se trouvent les communs, écuries ou granges.

History
The priory was dependent on the abbey of Saint-Julien of Tours. There remains from it the residence of the prior, which dates probably from the 16th century, and the 13th-century chapel. The dwelling presents itself as a rectangular manor with two storeys. A hexagonal staircase turret is attached to the centre of the main facade. The angles of this facade are flanked by a corbelled turret. To the west, the dwelling is extended by a 19th-century wing no doubt built on the site of an older construction. The chapel comprises two square bays covered with Angevin vaults. Traces of wall paintings are visible there. To the south of the courtyard are found the outbuildings, stables or barns.
