History

Houses joined together, in timber framing. Stout wooden posts, with pilasters, bear the main crosspieces, or poitrails, whose mouldings fall on carved corbels. Above, the façades are in timber framing, with brick infill. The posts of the first storey present moulded pilasters; those of the second and third storeys are plain. All posts are connected by crosspieces and a double row of crosses at each of the two storeys. The brickwork of the infills of the larger of the gables is disposed alternately by horizontal rows, or partly by horizontal and vertical, interlaced or in herringbone pattern. The former shop fronts have been altered and the vertical mullions of the windows have been cut. The interior preserves two large stone fireplaces.
