History
The carriage gateway of the old hôtel of the subdélégué of the Intendant, perhaps formed part of the old house of the Carmelites, which became national property during the Revolution. It is a portal with two doors, in studded wood, of arched form. Surround of hard stone. Simple pilasters and cornice framing the carved and moulded arch which encloses the door. Bollards in stone of curious and rather rare form, are placed in pairs on each side of this portal. Another similar one is found inside each side of the porch.
