Historique
Cette église, anciennement paroissiale, construite au 11e siècle, reçut d'importants remaniements au cours des périodes suivantes : réfection du chevet et du couvrement, modification des baies (13e, 15e et 16e siècles). L'édifice présente un appareillage très ancien qui pourrait être un remploi de matériaux ou de parties gallo-romains. A l'intérieur, les parements des murs de la nef avaient reçu une décoration picturale dont une partie représentait des chevaliers. Cette décoration était encore visible dans les années 1930. Les parements intérieurs du choeur étaient ornés d'un décor de draperies.

History
This church, formerly parochial, built in the 11th century, received important alterations during the following periods: refection of the chevet and the covering, modification of the openings (13th, 15th and 16th centuries). The building displays very ancient ashlar work which could be reused material or parts of Gallo-Roman origin. Inside, the wall surfaces of the nave had received pictorial decoration of which part represented knights. This decoration was still visible in the 1930s. The interior surfaces of the choir were decorated with drapery ornament.
