Truyes possédait une cure et un prieuré qui appartenaient à l'abbaye de Cormery. En 1477, ce prieuré fut réuni à celui de Vontes. La chapelle date du 12e siècle et a subi quelques transformations, surtout visibles sur la façade occidentale qui conserve la trace du pignon d'origine. La façade est flanquée au sud d'une tour carrée. La nef a également subi des transformations (percement d'ouvertures, appareillage recouvert d'un enduit). L'abside est de forme légèrment semi-circulaire.

History
Truyes possessed a rectory and a priory which belonged to the abbey of Cormery. In 1477, this priory was united with that of Vontes. The chapel dates from the 12th century and underwent some transformations, especially visible on the western façade which retains the trace of the original gable. The façade is flanked to the south by a square tower. The nave also underwent transformations (piercing of openings, stonework covered with render). The apse is of slightly semi-circular form.
